Venus Transiting the Sun June 8, 2004 Observed at Myrtle Beach South Carolina 33.42N Lat. 78.52W Long. Photo Time: 10:45 U.T. Observed Times: Contact III 11:05:28 U.T. Contact IV 11:25:11 U.T. Photo was taken using 10X50 binoculars on a tripod with someone holding a full spectrum solar filter. A digital camera was used set to 2x zoom held up to binocular eyepiece. |
